Our Pastor: Dr. Gary Biggs
Pastor Gary Biggs was born January 18, 1957, in a little town called Keosauqua, Iowa. Shortly after high school, he married his wife Sheila. Brother Biggs and his wife have been married for over twenty seven years and have three daughters: Annie, Jennifer, and Amanda. Annie and Jennifer are married.
After a short time working as a television repairman, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. It was during a tour of duty in Alaska that Pastor Biggs accepted Christ as his Saviour. Forty-one days later God called him to preach. He served as full-time youth director at Liberty Baptist Church in San Antonio until his discharge from active duty in 1984.
Pastor Biggs graduated from Hyles Anderson College in May, 1988. He pastored the First Baptist Church of Mediapolis, Iowa, for eleven years. The church grew to an average attendance of two hundred eighty-five, the building was expanded, five Sunday School buses were added, and Heartland Baptist College was started.
Pastor Biggs accepted the pastorate of Landmark Baptist Church March 29, 2000. We have seen a steady growth from then until now.
